Service Fulfilment Policy


1. Nature of Service Delivery
MedKulula provides healthcare services, not physical goods. All benefits under the MedKulula subscription are delivered either digitally through TeledoctorSA’s virtual consultation platform or in person at our partner clinics and affiliated practices.

2. Activation of Services
Membership benefits on MedKulula Plans become active immediately after successful payment confirmation through FNB Merchant Services or an authorised payment link.
Members will receive a welcome message confirming activation and instructions on how to schedule their first consultation.

3. Delivery of Services

  • Virtual Consultations: Conducted via TeledoctorSA using secure and encrypted video or chat systems.

  • In-Person Consultations: Provided at participating MedKulula partner clinics.

  • Health Monitoring: Services such as vitals checks and chronic follow-ups are delivered by our clinical team at designated facilities.

  • Medication Collection: Prescribed medicines can be collected from approved pharmacies or on-site dispensing units, subject to plan benefits and availability.

4. Appointment Scheduling and Confirmation
Members can schedule appointments by:

  • Logging in to their MedKulula profile

  • Calling or messaging the clinic directly

  • Using the contact form on our website

Once booked, appointment details will be sent via email, SMS, or WhatsApp confirmation.

5. Service Area and Availability
MedKulula currently serves patients within South Africa. In-person consultations are available only at approved MedKulula partner clinics. Telehealth and digital services are available nationwide, subject to stable internet access.

6. Service Delays or Disruptions
If a scheduled consultation cannot take place due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., power outages, system maintenance, staff illness), members will be notified promptly, and an alternative time will be offered at no additional cost.

7. Duration of Membership Access
Services remain available as long as the subscription remains active and payments are up to date. Failure to pay may result in temporary suspension until payment is received.
